Newcomer System Navigation & Digital Access

Supporting the recognition of digital access as a right by continuing to advocate for improved newcomer digital access by sharing newcomer needs and barriers related to devices and internet; supporting newcomer access to resources by mobilising knowledge on tools effective at empowering vulnerable newcomers to improve digital literacy skills; and improve the navigation of services for diverse and vulnerable newcomers by increasing awareness and use of digital forms of centralised service navigation tools which prioritise the diverse experiences of newcomers

Strengthening the Foundations of Sector Digital Readiness

Support newcomer-serving organisations to prepare for an evolving digital landscape by providing opportunities for service provider staff to build capacity in proactive service design, monitoring and evaluation; and provide newcomer-serving organisations with relevant tools to address capacity gaps in conducting needs assessments of newcomer digital access, including related factors

Aligning Cross Sectoral Digital Systems for Inclusive Newcomer Access

Collaborate on digital equity initiatives led outside the sector (e.g. technology, government, employers) by increasing connections, information sharing and helping to improve their impact on diverse newcomer populations; and help build a welcoming and relevant environment for newcomers by advocating for increased transparency on organisations’ use of AI across sectors providing supports to newcomers
