TNLIP’s new Data Advisory Group launched Winter 2024, with the objective to make data more accessible and useful for our members. TNLIP is able to access North York-specific statistical data through the National LIP Secretariat‘s partnership with the Community Data Program. This smaller group of TNLIP members advise TNLIP on what their data needs are, as well as advise on and validate the research informing TNLIP’s projects, events, and task groups.
The Data Advisory Group held its first meeting in March 2024. The group members had plenty of knowledge and ideas to share, and we are looking forward to using this first discussion to guide the way forward for this group to best support TNLIP members with their data access needs and capacity as it relates to a GBA+ analysis. The second meeting in June 2024 focused on the topics of housing, education, income, and employment. You can access the meeting minutes below.
