The Toronto North Local Immigration Partnership (TNLIP) prepared this report as part of a collaborative initiative to inform the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) about the unique mental health needs of newcomers and equity-deserving communities in North York, including how they may experience and communicate emotional distress during mental health crises. The report highlights key recommendations and insights from community organizations on delivering culturally sensitive mental health services to better support newcomers facing these challenges.
