TNLIP partnered with the Toronto Neighbourhood Centres and the Ontario Nonprofit Network to put together a wonderful speaker panel event exploring how organizations can apply Disability Justice Principles to the design of workplace environments and the delivery of services and programming. The learning session laid a foundational understanding of the AODA landscape, envisioned the intersection of disability justice and decent work, and built our capacity to reimagine concrete ways to transform our work and workplaces. The session was attended by more than 70 participants interested in the intersections of Disability Justice, Decent Work and Universal Design principles and featured disability advocates Zahra Brown, Rabia Khedr and Ingrid Palmer, and Yami Msosa as moderator.
Recording of the session is available here.
